Just back from vacation!!

5 days on the road, we had a blast! I'm very glad I stocked up on bribes. We spend 2 days in Monterey, then 2 in San Francisco, stopping by to see Brian, Heidi and Ava on the way home.

The boys loved the aquarium, and the zoo, and walking around by the beach and seeing all the boats. Sleep was a rarity, but they held up remarkably well.

Happy Sugar-High...um...I mean Halloween

Vicente is officially a Halloween Fan. He spent more time handing out candy at Grandma and Grandpa's but he had a blast. He'd run to the door screaming "Someone else is here!!!" and told everyone to have a nice day when they left. Quite the little host.

He did ingest his fair share of candy, and then spent the night with grandma and grandpa. A parent's dream.

V was a cowboy (complete with spurs) and Diego was a baby. He was really, really convincing.

Here are some pics from his birthday...mom and dad have better ones, so hopefully I'll remember to get them from them and post.

I can't believe he's 3. Man, where does the time go. We spent the evening at Chuck E Cheese's (which, ironically, felt like it lasted about 3 years). Fun was had by all. And bad pizza.

I can't believe it - V is going to be 3 on Monday. Crazy.

Diego is 10 months old now, he's just about walking (he takes 5 or 6 steps, gets so excited that he did it and tries to run. Then of course, he falls over. Nothing timid or moderate about my boys)

We're having actual pictures done tomorrow, so we'll have better ones. Please let me know if you want one, 'cause I'm not ordering them and sending 'em out ;)

I just noticed that most of Diego's pictures are of him in his high chair. What does that tell you??

It tells me 2 things - that he's a serious eater (don't put a hand on his tray or you might lose a finger) and that the only time he's still enough to take a picture is when he's strapped in his chair!

I'm losing body parts at an alarming rate!

I had "urgent" surgery yesterday to remove my gallbladder, what a yucky thing that is. I'm feeling a bit better today, but I can't pick up my kiddos and Jesus is having to take care of all 3 of us! You all can imagine how that is.

That's the 2nd body part in 2 years. What's next I wonder??

See, I'm forgetting already. It's such a zoo around here (but it's fun!)

Thank goodness fall is almost here. It's so hard when it's really hot and we are stuck inside, fall means playing outside pretty much whenever we want. and the slides and swings won't be hot, so we can hit the park more.

It's hard to believe that Vicente will be 3 in October and Diego's 8 months old. Diego's almost walking! Holy cow, the time goes by fast.
